Thank you for choosing me to capture your new listing/property for sale. I am excited to work with you in marketing your property. Please take a moment to read the below information so you know what you can expect when choosing me as your professional real estate photographer. 

Scheduling with me is easy! Call, email, text, snail mail, carrier pigeon… however you communicate, I communicate. It’s very important to give me as much notice as possible. Rarely, am I able to do same day shoots. Appointments are on a first come, first served basis. I’m a one-woman shop and I have a client-base who is busy listing homes. Please request a date and time and I will do my best to accommodate. I will need to have the listing agent, assistant or homeowner present to let me in to the property.  

Staging a home is always fun for me! However, I will not have to time to do this during the photo shoot. If the home needs staging, and you would like to consult with me to do so, I will be happy to meet with the homeowner a few days before the scheduled photo shoot, for a nominal fee, to do a ‘Walk & Talk” of the home. Please note, I am not a professional home stager, but I can certainly help, for a photographers eye always pays attention to detail! I also provide a great checklist for the homeowner to use as a guideline before the photo shoot. See the "Make their first impression count" at the top of this page.

"Can you work your magic?" Due to the popularity of "photoshop", it is sometimes expected that items in the home like rubber duckies in a bathtub, or walls that show bad paint touch-ups, broke down cars, or patchy grass can easily be removed by me on the computer. This, unfortunately, is not a service I provide as I run my business with ethics in mind and whatever a buyer will be seeing in person, is how the photos are delivered. If you are worried about a client adding decor items that you might not want in the photos, I advise you make a quick run-through with them prior to my arrival. Additionally, all home repairs should be completed and in photo-ready condition. 

Oh no, don’t cancel! I understand how dynamic the real estate industry is and things can change in an instant! I do not foresee any reason to assess fees as communication between us will be open and current. However, I respectfully ask for 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule photo shoots. Within the 24-hour window, a cancellation fee of $75 will be assessed. If I arrive at the property to find the shoot is canceled (or I am denied access to the property), 50% of the quoted shoot amount will be assessed in addition to the $75 cancellation fee. 

Mother Nature is sometimes not our friend! Photo shoots will continue as scheduled as long as it is not actually raining. If rain is present, we can shoot the interior as the seller has probably put a lot of hard work into getting it ready for the scheduled shoot. I will then return for exterior photos at the earliest day possible where the weather cooperates for a fee of $25. Another option is we can reschedule the entire shoot for my next available appointment. (No reschedule fees will be assessed for inclement weather.) 

When Do I Get The Photos? My turnaround time for having the photos ready is 24-72 hours. However, due to technology and my workload at the given time, I may need the 72 hours to be sure I return back a quality product. 

How do you get the photos? When the photos are ready I will email you a link to the web gallery. From there you can view and download the photos to your computer. The photos will be in the largest form acceptable to CMLS which is 3000 pixels at the longest side. This will be plenty large enough for your marketing flyers also. 

How do you pay? The fee for the shoot is for my time and talent and due the day of the shoot; I accept payment via PayPal or a more preferred method to reduce costs and keep prices low, with a check or cash at the property. 

Trip fee- If the property is located more than 40 miles (round trip) from my home in Spencer, NC, per Google Maps, there will be a $0.54 per additional mile trip charge in addition to the shoot fee. 

Who owns the photos? Heather Renee Alsip Photography maintains ownership of the real estate photos. The agent essentially leases the use of the photos for MLS and Promotional & Marketing purposes during their listing contract of the photographed property. The photos are not transferable to the homeowner or any other agent.  If the property listing is terminated for any reason the agent must stop using the photos immediately. If another Agent lists the property, should the new agent wish to lease the photos, the new agent must purchase the photos under the fees listed below. Under no circumstances will refunds be given once the property photos are taken. The agent or the homeowner may purchase the copyright for an additional fee.

$25 Re-trip fee for refreshed exterior or interior photos of certain rooms. Subject to mileage.
